On June 11, 1980, you <br /> wrote Mr. Howard a letter informing him that the six foot high <br /> portion of the fence between Mr. Howard' s property and his <br /> neighbors wae in violation of the zoning ordinance and that it <br /> your letteruyou indicatedhthat a�followtup inspectioncwould be <br /> made within ten days to insure comoliance with the ordinance. <br /> After talking with Mr. Howard, I contacted Ed Wilbur at your <br /> office and indicated to him that Mr. Noward will be filing a <br /> petition with the Hoard of Adjuatment for a variance to allow <br /> him to maintain the 6 foot fence. The purpose of this letter <br /> is simply to let you know that in fact we are filing an application <br /> for a variance and I would ask that we be allowed a atay of enforce- <br /> ment of the ordinance pending the outcome of our petition for <br /> the variance.
