Also, when i applied for the " building permit to allow me to install the six foot fence, I ahowed the inapector both photographa of the area where I was going to inatall the fence as well as landscape plans. The permit wae . iasued and I have in fact installed the fence. FOINT NO. 2: ; The fence along the property line between my property and my neighbor' s i.a already six foot and the only portion of the fence for w51ch I am askinq a variance ia that part directly between my house and my neighbor's houae. if the variance were granted allowing e six foot fence there would be no reatriction on viewa of any , property owners and would only give me privacy and cut off viaual accesa to my home and yard from my neighbor's yard which unfortunately is raiaed above the level of my house and lot. Also, the fence as preaentxS% conatructed lies approximately 7 to 8 feet from my neighbor's house which is very cloae to the 10 feet requirement under which I would be allowed to build a aix foot fence without a variance. POINT NO. 3: An unnecessary hardahip will continue because of the lack of privacy and acreening affect between my home and my neighbor's caused by the raised elevation of my neighbor's house. POINT N0. 4 : The only restriction that i would think applicable is that the fence which I propose be maintained coneistently with the remaining portiona of the fence. The fence as conatructed is a cedar fence and is esthetically consistent with the landacaping and terrain. I would certainly think it wc;,id be reasonable to restrict the construction materials to cedar or itu equivalent rather than a chain link fence or comparable construction materials.
