Sketch <br /> Council approval of this agenda item authorizes a budget revision in the additional amount requested. <br /> Expenditure Required $ -0- Account Number(s): <br /> Amount Budgeted $ -0- <br /> Additional Required $ -0- <br /> DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: <br /> A public hearing was held on July 21st for the proposed vacation of 39th Street between the limits of <br /> Hoyt Avenue and Rucker Avenue and a portion of the alley located north of 39th Street.The vacation <br /> is requested by the Everett Clinic for expansion purposes including a new medical office building and <br /> a parking garage north of and adjacent to the existing parking garage (see attached drawing). <br /> The proposed vacation of 39th Street and the portion of the alley to the north contain an area of <br /> approximately 17,372.2 which will be offset in part by the dedication of property needed to connect the <br /> alley to Hoyt Avenue. The subject vacation(s) are within the B-2 (Community Business) and the R-4 <br /> Multi-Family High Density) Zones <br /> There was no testimony at the public hearing opposing the proposed 39th Street vacation, however <br /> there was concern by the Physicians Eye Clinic regarding the outcome of an earlier alley vacation. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Reading of the ordinance vacating 39th Street between the limits of Hoyt Avenue and Rucker Avenue <br /> 20 <br />
