Also, Mr. McAliater maintaina his yard and <br /> buildings will be an asae* to the neiqhborhood. <br /> 'r,:. Joe Armitage of. 5820 Cady Road wae opposed to the granting of <br /> the variance for the following reasona: <br /> 1. His property ia goinq to be developed into a duplex. <br /> 2. The road to the duplex will go alongaide the proposed <br /> garaqe. <br /> 3. Nine (9) inches is not enough room for maintenance, and <br /> he is doubtful that there is as much as nine (9) inches <br /> to the property line. <br /> After visually viewing the subject property and considering all <br /> the facts and testimony, it was moved by Mr. 2ook, seconded by <br /> Mr. Wilson and unanimcusly carried to qrant the applicant's request, <br /> as it meets all the requirements of Section 19. 60. 070 of the Everett <br /> Municipal Code, pargraphs 1,2,3, & 4. <br /> It was also noted at this time that a variance was previously granted <br /> to Mr. McAli�ter, and there has been no substantial change made in <br /> the facts that were previously submitted and granted. <br /> A hearing was held on the application of Mik �o , 1613 Saker, <br /> Everett, Washington 98201 for a variance from Section 19. 16. 050 <br /> of the Everett Municipal Code, Yard Requirements, Paragraph C for <br /> perm: ssion to construct a garage and be able to build to within <br /> ten ;10) feet of the rear praperty line rather than the code require- <br /> ment of twenty (20) feet. <br /> Legal Uescziption: Lots 7 & 8, Bluck 331, Plat of Everett Div. "X" <br /> Address: 1613 Baker <br /> Zoning: R-2, Single Family High Density Residence <br /> Mr. Mootz represen�ed himself and made the following statements: <br /> 1. on the west- side of Fulton there are no parking signs <br /> for five (5) blocks. <br /> 2. He has thirty-two (32) feet on the North side of his <br /> propert�y to work on his car. <br /> Mr. Renfro, a neighbor, was for the granting of the variance as <br /> he feels there are otl�er buildings closer than ten (10) feet to <br /> the prohertti� line so Mr. Mootz shculd be allowed the same privi- <br /> le9e. <br /> -11- <br />
