WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 20, 2004 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: October 13, 2004 Mayor's Comments Council City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS (to be considered individually) (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $ 1,505,623.14 for the period of October 2, 2004, through October 8, 2004 (2) Authorize Call for ReBid of the 2004 Signal Improvement Project with the bid opening to be scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, 2004 (3) To approve the closure of Oakes and Lombard, 37th Street to the Everett Memorial Stadium; McDougall, 36th to 38th Street; Paine, 36th to 37th Street; the alley south of the Buzz Inn between 36th and 37th Street; 37th Street; Broadway to Paine; and 38th Street, Broadway to the dead end; for the 17th Annual Puget Sound Festival of Bands on October 23, 2004, 7 am to 9 p.m. sponsored by the Cascade High School Boosters with the condition that there be safety flaggers at 37th and Oakes, Lombard and Broadway, and that the intersection at 38th and Broadway be manned by four certified flaggers or two off-duty police officers during the entire event to ensure the safe passage of the bands from the staging area to the stadium and back ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) (4) CB 0409-46 — 3rd and final Reading — Adopt the Proposed Ordinance amending the City's parking regulations concerning time zones and penalties for parking infractions, Ordinance no. 2691-03 (EMC 46.28.020F) and Ordinance No. 2395-99 as amended (EMC 46.28.270) (5) CB 0409-47 — 3rd and final Reading — Adopt the Proposed Ordinance creating a special improvement project entitled, "Wiggums Hollow Skate Park", Fund 354, Program 023, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE
