WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 20, 2004 <br /> CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> Roll Call <br /> Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Approval of Minutes: October 13, 2004 <br /> Mayor's Comments <br /> Council <br /> City Attorney <br /> Citizen Comments <br /> CONSENT ITEMS (to be considered individually) <br /> (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the <br /> amount of $ 1,505,623.14 for the period of October 2, 2004, through October 8, <br /> 2004 <br /> (2) Authorize Call for ReBid of the 2004 Signal Improvement Project with the bid <br /> opening to be scheduled for Tuesday, November 16, 2004 <br /> (3) To approve the closure of Oakes and Lombard, 37th Street to the Everett <br /> Memorial Stadium; McDougall, 36th to 38th Street; Paine, 36th to 37th Street; <br /> the alley south of the Buzz Inn between 36th and 37th Street; 37th Street; <br /> Broadway to Paine; and 38th Street, Broadway to the dead end; for the 17th <br /> Annual Puget Sound Festival of Bands on October 23, 2004, 7 am to 9 p.m. <br /> sponsored by the Cascade High School Boosters with the condition that there be <br /> safety flaggers at 37th and Oakes, Lombard and Broadway, and that the <br /> intersection at 38th and Broadway be manned by four certified flaggers or two <br /> off-duty police officers during the entire event to ensure the safe passage of the <br /> bands from the staging area to the stadium and back <br /> ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) <br /> (4) CB 0409-46 — 3rd and final Reading — Adopt the Proposed Ordinance amending <br /> the City's parking regulations concerning time zones and penalties for parking <br /> infractions, Ordinance no. 2691-03 (EMC 46.28.020F) and Ordinance No. 2395-99 <br /> as amended (EMC 46.28.270) <br /> (5) CB 0409-47 — 3rd and final Reading — Adopt the Proposed Ordinance creating a <br /> special improvement project entitled, "Wiggums Hollow Skate Park", Fund 354, <br /> Program 023, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project <br /> AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE <br />
