As a matter of practice,we estimated the amounts to be used and ask the Assessor to <br /> determine and use the correct rates for general property taxes. The amounts for taxes relating to specific <br /> bond payments are known and exact amounts are used in the ordinance. The ordinance includes the levies <br /> for general funds,EMS,and two voter-approved bond issues. The 2005 property tax ordinance calls for a <br /> one percent increase in the regular levy. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the proposed ordinance setting City of Everett property tax levies for fiscal <br /> year 2005 and directing the Snohomish County Assessor to levy said taxes. <br /> 31 <br />
