The applicant wishes to <br /> extend the aide wall of the house with a 192—square—toot addltion. <br /> If he were to build the addltion to Code, it uould necesaitate an <br /> unattractive 6" �og in the aide wall. <br /> Conolueion: The request appears to be reasonable. <br /> Thet auch variance 1e neceeeary for the preeervation and en,�uyment of <br /> a �ubstantlal property right of the appellant possessed by the ouners <br /> of other propertiee in the same vicinity or zone. <br /> FSnA1flII: ?hia is a typical north—end structure built in the early <br /> 1g20��a. Other nonconforming etructures of that vintage in older <br /> portlons of the clty heve been grented variances to allou tor <br /> renovatlon end improvement of the property by means of additions <br /> whioh may be nonconforming r+iLh respect to setbeck and/or gross floor <br /> area ratlo. <br /> Conalusion: The varlance would allow a property right poasessed by <br /> other similar home ouners. <br />
