Permits for this work in addition to those required for• restoration work will have to be obtained and all such above referenced work shall be brought into code complaince. Please be advised that Section 104 (b) , Building Code requires that when eidditions, alterations, or repairs with- in any 12 r�onth period exceeds fifty percent of the ralue of an existing buildii�g or structure, such building or atructure shall be made to conform to the requirements for a new building or structure. '!'herefore, we have determined that the value of this building, prior to the damage, is $10, 000.00. The Snohomish County 1lssessor's valuation was used in determining this value. Insomuch, as the contractor estimates that restoration wor;c will cost $G, 000. 00 and that additional cotistruction costs will be incurred to bring priar work, done without permits, to compliance it appears that all work will total more than fifty percent of the value of the building, :herefore, the building will be required to be bzought to code compliance as provide3 for in Section 104 (b) of the Building Code. ,
