M., in the City <br /> Counci! Chambers by Chairman Ross Hoagland. Also in attendance wrre Doug Zook and Frank <br /> Wilson. <br /> Item 1. Louis LeBuanic V-/f20-82 <br /> Requested Action: A variance from Everett Municipal Cede, Sec. 19.12.050 for <br /> permission to allow a carport io be built that would be six feet instead of thc <br /> required 7-i/2 feet side yard setback and ten feet instead of the required 32-1/2 <br /> feet front yard setback requirement in the (RS) suburban Residential zone. <br /> Location: 4707 Bayview Lane <br /> Existing Zoning: R-S - Single Family Suburban Residentia! <br /> Don Wood, of the Planning Department, presented the staff report and showed slides of the <br /> site, explalning that the applicant had converted the attached garage to a bed�oom and so <br /> wanted to bujld a carport abutting existing cement bulkheads in the front and side yards and <br /> utilizing the existing driveway. Thera is existing vegetation on the side yard to provIde <br /> screening. The Planning Staff recommends approval of the variance. <br /> The board members had no questions and Mr. Hoagland stated he had visited the site. The <br /> applicant stated he had installed the bulkheads when he installed drainage tile some time ago <br /> � to take care of drainage from the property above him. <br /> There was no one else in the audience to speak for or against the project. <br /> MOTION: Doug Zuok moved to approve the variance as recommended by the Planning Staff. <br /> SECOND: Frank Wilson <br /> VOTE: Unanimously in favor TO GRANT THE VARIANCE <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 P.
