Subsurjace Exploration, Geologic Hazard, and
Befvedere Lots Easr Prelimimry Geotechnical Engineedng Repon
Everetr, Washington Preliminarv Design Recommrndations
16.0 PROJECT DLSIGN AND CONSTRUCTION MONITORING
We are available to provide additional geotechnir,al consultation as the project design develops
and possibly changes from that upon which this report is based. If significant changes in
grading are made, we recommeid that AFSI perform a geotechnical review of the plans prior
ro final design completion. In t;is way, our eartiwork and foundation recommendations may
be propf:rly interpreted and implemented in the design.
We are: also available to provide geotechnical engineering and monitoring services during
constntiction. The integriry of the foundations depends on proper site preparation and
constniction procedures. In addition, engineering decisions may hae to be made in the field
in the event that variations in subsurface conditions become apparent. Construction monitoring
servic.es are not part of this current scope of work. If these services are desired, please let us
I:now and we will prepare a proposal.
We have enjoyed working with you on this study and are confident that these recommendations
will aid in the successful completion of pour project. If you should have any questions, or
require further assistance, please do not hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
ASSOCIATEU EARTH SCIGNCES, INC.
iGrkland, Was6ington
,' . -----
7'im thy l. e e, P.G., P.L-.G., P.IIg.
Proj ' •oist
/ /
s
Ronald A.
