Rockeries shall be wnstructed by en experienced contrador, in accordance with lhis detail. The minimum width <br />of the base rock should be H/3, while the widih of the top rock should be 1 B Inches. <br />2. Geogrid Reintorcement shall be Tensar UX 140U or equivalent. Substitutions should be submitled to the geotechnical engineer <br />for approval prior to slarting construclion. The maximum geogrid spacing should be 24 inches. The embedment length (L) <br />should be 0.7 H. <br />3. A minimum of 12 inches ol quarry spalls shall be placed between the rockery and the Conpeded Fill, with e 4inch diameter <br />pedorated drain pipe buried in the spalis al the base ol the rockery. The Compacted Fill shell be compacted in a maximum ot <br />12-inch lifls to at least 95 percent of lhe maximum dry density asdetermined byModified Proclor (ASTM D-1557). <br />4. No footings or strudures shall bear within a 1:1 (H:� zone of Ihe rockery's base. <br />5.
