VI:I
The following findings and conclusions are based on the criteria established in Section
41.150.D.I.b. of the Zoning Code -• "Special Property Use Permits - Evaluation Criteria for
Above Ground Utility and Communication Facilities." Only the applicable criteria have been
addressed. The pruposal is consistent with these criteria for the following reasons:
• The site is an improved utility installation and would not result in anew tower or
communication support structure. The proposal would not create undesirable impacts on
more sensitive residential land uses (refer to findings and conclusions, above);
• The site is located more than 200 feet of the nearest gateway corridor (i.e., Evergreen Way,
and is within a residential zone. Therefore, the project must be reviewed using Review
Process II;
• The proposed antennas would be located on an existing monopole that was approved by the
land use Hearing Examiner in '.998 with a condition requiring the applicant to allow
coloc:ation of additional comfy unications antennas. This proposal is consistent with the
Hearing Examiner's decision.
DECISION: The proposal is approved as submitted subject to compliance with all city, state and
federal regulations. The following conditions shall apply:
1. All antennas shall be painted the same color as the existing monopole.
2. Placement and design of antennas shall be consistent with the plans on file at the
Planning Department dated received June 7, 2002. Minor modifications maybe approved
by the Planning Director.
3. A building permit will k required for the antennas and for electronic components located
at ground level
This is an administrative decision that is appealable to the City's Land Use Hearing Examiner.
Any appeals must b. filed with the City within 14 days of the date of this notice.
