.'. <br />• MARCH 9, 1976 <br />The regular meetinq of the City of Everett Board of Adjustment <br />aas held at 7:30 p.m., March 1, 1976, in the City Nall Council <br />Chambers, City HaTl, Everett, 47ashington. Mr. Graff presided <br />Mr. Haird and the newly elected member, bir. Black, were present. <br />Mr.. Berq was absent. The reading of the minutes of the previ- <br />ous meeting was dispensed with. <br />A hearing was held on the application of Richard Wendt, 3527 <br />Shore Avenue, Everett, Washington, for a variance from Section <br />15.04.075 E.C.C. (Zoning Code) it-2, Single-Family Surburban <br />Residential Zone, Subsection E, Yard requirements for permis- <br />sion to construct an addition (dining area) to an existing re- <br />sidential structure and to encroach into the East side yard <br />setback for 2� feet, thereby providing a side yard of 5 feet <br />rather than the minimum requirement of 7�, feet. Legal Des- <br />cription: :..,c 5, Plat of Edgewater 3527 Shore Avenue. <br />After considering the facts it was moved by Mr. Baird seconded <br />by Mr. Black and unanimously'cazried to grant the applicant's <br />request for the following reason: <br />That it is aa extension of the variance that was granted two <br />years ago with no substantial change to the original request. <br />A hearing was held on the application of Mr. Robert Lundquist, <br />Post Cffice Box 2343, Everett, TJashington, for a variance from <br />Chapter 19.08.010 Everett Municipal Code, Land Use, Paragraph <br />.H for.permi:;sion to divide one parcel of land into two (2) par- <br />cels, one lot to be twenty-five (25) feet fronting a public de- <br />dicated street rather tY.an the reSuired forty (40) feet. <br />Legal Description: Lot 5, Block 3, North Beverly Park, Divi- <br />eion N2. Address: 6630 Beverly Houlevard. Zoninq: R-2, Sin- <br />gle Family High Density Residential. <br />Mr. John Stone, who lives at 66th and Highlan3 Drive, was cen- <br />cerned about the :ieight of the proposed buildings, the property <br />lines, and the possibility of future rezoning for apartment <br />construction. Mr. Shockey stated that the area was not now <br />zoned for apar'Jnents but the Board could not guarantee that a <br />rezoning will not be granted sometime in the future since this <br />is not within their jurisdiction. Mr. Shockey also assured <br />Mr. Stone of the thirty-five (35) foot heiqht limitation and <br />the boundary of his property lines would not be influenced by <br />the grantinq of :i variance. <br />There was no furt:her comment from the audience. <br />It was moved by Dir.
