IIISPECiIOHOEP�qTMENt <br />The following defects must be corrected before we can certify that <br />this structure meets the minimum requirements of the Uniform <br />Housing Code. <br />1. The broken glass plate on the kitchen range must be <br />replaced. <br />2. The electrical conne,:tor box under the kitchen sink shall <br />have a cover so bare wires are not exposed. <br />3. Hot water tank safety relief vent is incorrectly vented. <br />4. There has been plumbing installed in the basement; this <br />was done without required permits. The plumbing is <br />illegal and requlres proper installation. <br />The structure is occupied and very cluttered, ham,,ering a complete <br />inspection. The bedrooms could not be inspected because of people <br />sleeFing in then and the windows could not be inspected. As per <br />the Uniform Housing Code: . <br />All egress or rescue windows from sleeping rooms shall have <br />a minimum net clear opening of 5.7 square feet. The <br />minimum net clear opening height dimension shall be 24 <br />inches. The minlmum net clear opening width dimension shall <br />be 20 inches. Where windows are provided as a means of <br />egress or rescue they shall have a finished sill height <br />not more than 44 inches above the floor. <br />This s*.ructure is situated in an R-1 zone and has the permitted use of <br />a single family residence. <br />.� <br />
