January 22, 1987
Mr. Robert Pierre
8018 Beverly Blvd.
Everett, WA 98203
Subject: 8016 Beverly Blvd., Everett, WA
Dear Mr. Pierre:
On April 17, 1986, you sent a letter to the City of Everett asking for
permission to let "the house on Lot 1 remain until the time of the final
approval of the Short Subdivision". The house is commonly referred to as 8016
Beverly Blvd.
On April 24, 1986, Larry Callahan, City of Everett 3uilding Official, sent a
letter to you granting your request provided that the structure be secured
from entrance.
Since that time, the Short Subdivision has tern granted and your new home has
tmen built on Lot 2. The City Building Inspection Division conducted a final
inspection on September 9, 1986, and was approved.
An Inspection of the area was conducted on January 7, 1987, and it was noted
that the vacant substandard structure remains on lut 1 of your property.
The structure contains several deficiencies pursuant to the Uniform Housing
Code and the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings. Some of
these deficiencies are noted in the enclosed City of Everett Building Official
Notice and Order. Your immediate attention is required in correcting these
deficiencies through either demolition of the structure or bringing it up to
standards set forth In the Uniform Duildimj Code.
Should you have any questions regarding this letter or tta: enclosed Building
Official Notice and Order, please call Marian Payne, Housing Inspector, at
259-8745.
Sincerely,
ALFRED R.
