TO Jim Iles
FROM Marian Payne 4 J
DATE February 13, 1987 ..... _.;
SUBJECT 8016 Beverly Blvd., Robert Pierre CITY OF EVEHETT. EVERETT WAFHINGTON
On February loth, I received a phone call from Mr. Pierre and he was calling
in reference to the Building Official Notice and Order he had receivedi.
He indicated that when he bought the house at 8016 Beverly Blvd., it was in
very bad shape, that he has attempted to do some repair work on it and that he
intended to rehabilitate the structure but did not plan on getting permits for
another six months.
He claims that he cannot do anything with the house because of bankruptcy
proceedings regarding Melvin G. Heide and Capretto h Clark. These proceedings
have been going on for more than two years now.
Enclosed is a copy of the Endorsement to the title report I had acquired
May 1, 1986. I have a paperclip on the page regarding the bankruptcy and have
highlighted the paragraph regarding the same.
I don't feel that these proceedings will have an affect on our abatement
proceedings. At any rate, I explained to Mr. Pierre that if he was appealing
our action, he had to do it in accordance with the Notice and Order. I
explained that he had 30 days from the date of the order to file his appeal.
Mr. Pierre indicated that he would file the appeal.
Enclosure
cc: Carlton Gipson
1350E
