Eariy versions of the GFCI results in frequent nuisance trips. This <br />probiem has been corrected. <br />Section 305-6 of the National Electrical Code requires that either a written <br />"assured equipment: grounding conductor program" or ground-fauit circuit- <br />interrupter prote,:tion `or personnel be provided on c�nstruction sites. <br />Exceptions incluc�e r?ceptacle outlets �.ahic;� are a part of per,nanen� >;ir-,;y �; <br />the buiiding or ctoubie-insulated tools. <br />The Department's Ind�striai Sarety and Health Division, through ',JAC <br />296-155-430(8) aiso requires that either ground-fault circuit-interrupters �r an <br />assured equipment grounding conductor program be provided.
