The dwrlling (unit M2 of a two unit apartment) lacks required smoke alarms m all locations throughout the dwelling. <br />This is a violation of section 704.2 of the IPMC. <br />2. A required carbon monoxide alarm Is not provided within the dwelling. This is a violation of section R315.1 0! the IRC <br />and stat� law. <br />3. A 40 amp branch circuit and associated wiring has been installPd wrthout required permits and approvals. This <br />electrical installafion has been installed in an unsafe and non-comphant manner. This wiring is tonneited to the <br />electrical service panel that serves unit kl. 7he wmng has been installed through and within the garage that serves unit <br />p2 This electrical work is a violation of IPMC section G05 1 and section R105.] of the IRC. <br />h. The exterior of the structure has deteriorated conditions that indude according to the tenant, roof leaks. See IPMC <br />section 304.7 <br />5. Beech, building defects <br />Ted, <br />I left you a voice mail about the dupler. at 6] 15 W. Beech yesterday. The tenanl " �noving out today, Thursday <br />and will �;ive us access to inspect her side of the duplex in Unit n 2. She said the other tenants in Unit tt 1 tapped mto her <br />electrica! meter by a wire ru� through the garage wall. She said the kitchen has non-working ciraits, the unit is moldy <br />and the stairs arc not to code. I noted missin� rooi shingles and a damager/deteriorated garage door. <br />Cindy K <br />
