Finke: <br /> A Building Officials Hearing was held on F�prii 18 , 1974 <br /> relative to the matter of the unsafe buildings at 1120 <br /> - Broadway Avenue, commonly known as 1Qorth Gate h:otel. You <br /> were present at that meeting. <br /> It was determined by the Building Official, at that time, <br /> that the buildings in question were a potential � hreat <br /> to the community. The IIuilding Official further order.ed <br /> that the structures be demolished, subject to the ,`:ollocaing <br /> conditions: <br /> 1. The owner is hereby granted permission to <br /> demoiish the structures by his own methods <br /> provided the demolition work complies �;ith <br /> all applicable city codes and ordinances . <br /> 2 . The owner is required to obtain a demolitio�: <br /> permit within one week from the date of thi:; <br /> notice and to begin work within ten (10) day� <br /> from the date of this permit. <br /> 3 . The demolition work must be completed, to the <br /> satisEaction of the Inspection Department, on <br /> . or before July 31, 1974 . Additional time <br /> will only be granted by the Building Official. <br /> 4 . The garage structure can remain on the site <br /> with the stipulation that it must be brought up <br /> to the present building codes if it is to be <br /> occupied or used in any manner. The repair or <br /> demolition of this structur� must be accomplished <br /> within one year from the date of this notice. <br />
