Detailed drawings in accordance with City Design and <br /> Construction Standards shall be submitted to the Public Works <br /> Department showing site parkinq layout, landscaping, utilities, <br /> storm drainage, temporary construction erosion control, and <br /> - all required improvements in the public right-of-way. Public <br /> Works Department approval of these drawings is required prior <br /> to any permits being issued. All improvements shall be <br /> completed, approved, and warranted before the Occupancy Permit <br /> is issued. <br /> 2. City strQets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris <br /> aY. all ,:imes durinq construction. Dust suppression and street <br /> cleaning must occur as directed by the Public Works Inspector. <br /> 3. The premises and motel units must be clearly identified and the <br /> address must be visible from the street to facilitate emerqency <br /> response. <br /> 4 . Performance guarantees are required for utility and �:lley <br /> improvements (including landscaping) . <br /> 5. A one year guarantee is required on the public improvements for <br /> an amount not less than 10 percent of the cost of construction <br /> and shall run for one year from the date of issuance of the <br /> first Occupancy Permi.t Por the proposal. <br /> 6. The on-site watermain must be staked within an easement to the <br /> City. The easement will be submitted to the City prior to <br /> issuance of permits. <br /> 7. As-builts of water systems will be required to be submitted per <br /> city Design and Construction Standards ar,d Specifications. <br /> 8. The Police Dep<,rtment has the following security <br /> recommendations: <br /> a. The perimeter doors should be solid core with 190 deqree to <br /> 220 degree wide angle viewers and single cylinder deadbolts <br /> with 1 inch throw and at least 3 inch screws securing the <br /> striker plate. Eacb unit should also be provided with <br /> inside chains or bolt locks secured with 3 inch screws or <br /> screws as long as possible. <br /> b. Ground windows should have double type locking devices. <br /> c. The motel key system should be one that can be changed for <br /> each occupant or be a combination key-in-knob and single <br /> cylinder deadbolt lock where the tumblers can be easily <br /> changed when keys are not returtied. <br /> d. The reception area should be located so the receptionist can <br /> see the parking lots or video camera should be provided in <br /> the parking lot for receptionist observation. <br />
