With the addition of the following, the plans are approved. <br /> 1. The Health District operating peimit appl�cation process, for the deli, must be completed prior to <br /> opening for business. <br /> 2. A copy of the proposed menu must be submitted. <br /> 3. A mop sink or utility sink is rcquired. <br /> 4. Employee restroom� are required. <br /> 5. A horizontal separation of at least l6 inches or a ve�tical partition 16 inches in height is required <br /> betwcen the food p[eparation sink and all other sinks. <br /> 6. Water heaters must be of sufficient size to provide hot water to dishwasher and/or scullery sinks and �t <br /> the s�vne time provide hot water to all handwash sinks. <br /> 7. Extra w:ill protection is required on walls behind sinks and food preparadon tables. A 16 inch high <br /> backsplash of plastic laminate,fiberglass reinforced plastic or equal is acceptable. <br /> 8. The floor must be surfaced with a durable, nonabsorbent,easily cleanable ma[erial. <br /> 9. The ceiling above the food prep:uation areas m�ist be nonabsorbent,smooth, and easily cleanable. <br /> l0. rVl light fixtures in food preparation and storage :u�eas must be provided with covers or shatter proot' <br /> bulbs. <br /> l 1. Plumbing must meet state and loc:il codes. <br /> l2. The venuladon system shall be installed and operated to meet applicable building, mechanical, and fire <br /> codes. <br /> l3. Note: This facility has a limited amount of refrigeration equipment for cooling of hot foods. <br /> No advanced preparation of foods requiring cooling will be allowed unless a walk-in <br /> refrigerator is installed or other Health District approved cooling method is in place. <br /> A preoperational inspection is required prior to opening for business. At the time of inspection the <br /> construction of the food service establishment must be complete and all equipment must be in place. <br /> Incomplete construction may result in a $130.00 �einspection fec. Please contact the Tood Program <br /> office a minimum of one week in advance to schedule an appointment.
