In order to determine if the prasure and 11ow in the LombaM Iine ia adequab,you asked me to check wrih my mechanlcal engineer to determine ths buildinp's needs. Here's what I found tor you: Dome�tic:50 gpm,50 psl static pressure desired. Fire Protection: (estimated):600 pallons per minute at 30 psig flowing. This is est3mated alnce we do not have a final desipn for the system yet The usual procass is to tell ths tiro protectlon contractor what level of coverage ts required(xx pallons per minute over u square feet)and have them deaiqn M�ir piping to get the water throuph the building. From that,they can detertnlne the gpm,and if they know your flowir�g pressure,they can decide how big the plpes need to be. For us to tell you a flowinp pressure is a bit backwards;the 30 psig value is enough for the sprinklers to work,but we cannot tell if the system cost would Increase over what it would have cost with a connectlon to Broadway's line.
