: _ � ro � C ��.� Cduuc < < l� �nu��5 �csus7` d3 oZ�JCy� <br /> RESOLUTION—ABATEMENT/1618 BROADWAY <br /> l�e •�, f [39Pa7� <br /> Moved by Councilmember Simpson, seconded by Councilmember Warnock �r,J 49(i3� <br /> to adopt a resolution confirming expenses incurred by the City of Everett <br /> while performing abatements of violations, and authorizing placement of a <br /> lien in the amount of $541.50 against the property known as 1618 <br /> Broadway. i <br /> Moved by Councilmember Waznock, seconded by Councilmember Pope to <br /> amend the motion to add "with interest as provided by law" to the last <br /> sentence of the proposed resolurion. <br /> Roll was called on the amendment with all councilmembers voting yes except <br /> Councilmember Gipson who abstained. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Ivan Hausvou, 3003 Eaton Way, Bremerton, a contractor employed by the <br /> property owner, expressed confusion regarding the ahatement proceedings. <br /> Bud Wessman, Code Compliance, detailed the events which lead to this <br /> proceeding. • <br /> Shu Chan Lin, 10701 15'" Avenue NE, Seattle, stated that she owns the <br /> properry at 1618 Broadway, but does not reside there, and had not received an <br /> invoice for the $541.50 in abatement costs. <br /> Ciry Attorney Soine suggested that this item be continued to the end of the City <br /> Council meeting [e allow I,aura Van Slyck, former Code Compliance Director, <br /> to be involved in the discussion. <br /> President Campbell stated that this item will be continued to the end of the <br /> meeting, following agenda item �/14. <br /> YZ <br />
