In addition, the PerFormance <br /> Agreement Rezone should allow <br /> modification of parking requirements for a <br /> 10% reduction of the parking standards. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The Dykeman Architects, on behalf of the Bartell Drug Store, (Applicantj <br /> requested approval of a Performance Agreement Rezone uf a 6,000 square foot <br /> lot at 1825 Broadway Avenue, Everett, Washington (subject property). The <br /> specific request was for a rezon� from R-2, Single-Family Medium Density <br /> zoning designation to B-2, Community Business zoning designation. As part of <br /> the Performance Agresment Rezone, the Applicant requested a modification of <br /> parking for a 10% reduction of the required parking standards. While the <br /> required parf:ing standard is 51 parking spaces, the Applicant requests a 46 <br /> space parking lot. The rezone is sought in conjunction with the development of <br /> a retail store on tfie comer of Broadway Avenue and 19"' Street, Everett, <br /> Washington. <br /> A hearing on the request was held before the Hearing Examiner of the Ciry of <br /> Everett on September a0, 1999.
