We have revised the plans in accordance with the enclosed
City redlined review set as follows: I
Sheet Cl: We have changed the name of the reference to ihe City of Everett Public Works
Departrnent, as requested.
h 2: Storm drainage from the building has been redirected to go to the catch basin at the
northeast corner of the intersecdon of Broadway and 19th Street. Therefore, the exisung combined
storm sewer stub ncrth of the intersecdon will not be used by the new building for roof drainage
and/or sewer service. We have removed all applicable notes regarding the use of the eaisung
cornbined sewedstorm drain smb. Gas traps have been called out on the new catch basins, as
requested.
Approzimately 2,000 square feet of paved area, represendng the drive-througfi portion north of the
buildina, is sdll directed to go to new Catch Basin *Io. 2, which is located on the existing 8-inch
combined storm drain/sanitary seever in the alley east of the building. Because all roof drainage is
being directed to the system in Broadway, there is achtally a reduction in drainage area going to the
combined system in the alley. Directing ihis minimal amount of drainage to the alley system avoids
the conactor having to make a deep cut into a minimum of three lanes of Broadway.
Sheet C3: As previously menfioned, we have eliminated ihe connecdon to the ecisung side sewer
north of the intersection. We have labeled the connecdons to the water main to be installed by the
City of Everett R'atcr Department at the developer's expensc,as requested. Also, we have called out
a I-inch water meter rather than a f 1/2-inch, as requested, because the Water Departrnent does not
have a I I/2-inch meter. The locafion of the ezisdng water main is shown on the plans according to
I the as-builts supplied by the City of Everett.
Sheet C4: Sediment bags have been called out, as requested, for the ezisfing catch basins in the
roadway. T'he ezis6ng power pole east of the building has been relabeled to remain.
18215 72ND AVENUE SOU7H KENT,WA 9802 (425)251-8222 (425)251-8782 FAX
www.bargheusen.can
