There appears to be three undergcound tanks on = � � <br /> m <br /> the west side of the existing building and three on the south side. p = ! <br /> r <br /> We understand that the three tanks on the south si.de of the build- ? _ � <br /> .., ... i <br /> ing are no l.onqer used. The three abandoned tanks are inside the � `^ ! <br /> � � <br /> proposed building area; the existing building and the other tanks � D I <br /> 3 i <br /> appear to be outside the new building footprint. F.xcept for some = '^ � <br /> m� <br /> concrete slabs adjacent to the existinq building, the whole site is o �' <br /> or <br /> covered with asphalt. c ,'"„ , <br /> m N � <br /> z c� <br /> -� r <br /> The site is situated on a plateau bounded by Possesion Sound on the ' n I <br /> � <br /> west and the Snohomish River Valley on the east. The site and the � <br /> x <br /> surrounding area is quite flat. _ <br /> � <br /> _ <br /> SUBSURFACE CONDITIONS `^ � <br /> z <br /> o � <br /> Three ( 3 ) to fonr (4 ) inches of asphaltic concrete was found in the m ' <br /> test pits. Under the asphalt is tyoically about four (4 ) inches of I <br /> five-eights (5/8 ) minus crushed rock. � <br /> � <br /> Beneath the pavement section are varied native soils: silty sands, <br /> sandy silt and gravelly sand.
