City planning staff feels the planting plan which <br /> we discussed yesterday would be sufficient to meet the standards of Section <br /> 35.030B of our City Zoning Code. I have enclosed a site plan which outlines the <br /> location as well as the type and amount of landscaping needed on site. <br /> The building permit you submitted is currently on hold with the Planning <br /> Department. In order for this department to process this permit, we will need to <br /> approve the landscape plan discussed above. In addition to a landscape plan, a <br /> set aside letter wiil also need to be submitted to the City, to guarantee the <br /> improvements on site. The amount of the warranry shall be 300% of the cost of <br /> the work, which would include the cost of the plants, as well as installation. I <br /> have enclosed a copy of this form. <br /> On a separate note, you had asked that I inquire on the status of the billboard <br /> located on your property. Section 36.200.A1 states that "When any new sign for <br /> which a sign permit is required by this Section is proposed to be installed on a <br /> premises upon which is located a nonconforming sign ar signs, one <br /> nonconforming sign shafl be removed or brought into conformance with this <br /> Section foreach newsign installed fora particularbusiness." The City received <br /> a sign permit application for the installation of two wall signs for this site.
