Ije allegedly hired an ou� of town <br /> contractor to make a side sewer repair at the store. The <br /> contractor neither obtained a permit for such work nor requested <br /> an inspection nor was he licensed . He also allegedly used ABS <br /> plastic pipe to make the rer�ir. When Mr. Williams brought this <br /> to my attention, we both went to the City Attor:iey with the matter . <br /> All of the records etc . were given to the Gity :lttorney at which <br /> time he was to fcllow up on the matter. <br /> Mr . Williams was in the office again on March 7 , 1975 . He asked <br /> what had happened on the matter, stating that he had I�eard absolutely <br /> nothing from anyone . Mr . Williams was quite upset at the fact <br /> that apparantely nothing had been done , and asked that the matter <br /> be persued if possible. <br /> At the time the work was done, the contractor was required by <br /> Ordinance to be licensed by the City of Everett as a sewer <br /> contractor, obtain a permit through the Engineering Department <br /> for the repair, request an inspection thrcugh the Inspection <br /> Department and use only approved materials when making the repair . <br /> None of the above were complied with. <br /> Can we possibly get some kind of ansr�er for Mr .
