There is less parking problem anticipated with the new structure. <br /> I <br />� 5. There is currently no parking problem. <br />` 6. The off street parking will be reviewed again in 1985 . <br />` Mr. Hudson & Mr. Knudsen, neighboring property owners, were agzinst the <br /> 1 granting of the variance for the following reasons: <br />` 1 . There is a parY.ing problem now. <br />( 2 . The alley needs repairing 6 surfacing before there is additional <br /> traffic use. <br />( There was no further comment from the audience. <br />� After visuelly viewing the subject property and considering all the <br /> facts and testimony it was moved bf Mr. Kristiansen, seconded by Mr. <br />� Black and unanimously carried to grant the variance as it meets all the <br /> requirements of Section 19 . 07. 060 of the Everett 14unicipal code Paragraphs <br />� 1� 2r3 , & 4. <br />' As a condition to the granting of the variance the following stipulations <br />' were made: <br /> 1. The alley behind (�ast) of Jerry' s Surplus would be full width <br />' and resurfaced to City standards. <br />� the Public Works <br /> 2. The landscaping plans shall be approved by <br />� Departme�it prior to any issuance of a building permit. <br /> 3. No retai.l trade or display or commercial activity shall take place <br />' on tLe area now designated as landscaping. <br /> i q . Twenty-first (21st) Street ehall be improved as shown on the plans. <br /> 5. The City Attorney shoul.d review the parking lease as sufficiency <br /> to satisfl City requirements. <br /> The members voted 5 to 0 to grant the applicant 's request.
