These comments <br />address building issues only. Additional revisions, or additions, may be requimd by other departments <br />(such as Utilitics, Planning or Fire). All rcferences refer [o the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as <br />amended by thc Siate of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Codr„ 2001 F.�1i[ion, unless <br />stated othenvise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be neccssary to provide the <br />Building Division with two complete new sets o( drawings reflecting the corrections requested. <br />1. The proposed cmergcncy exit door appears to be closer than 5 ft. from a property line. This is <br />prohibited by UBC Section 503.2.1 and Table 5-A. The door could come uut of thc front of <br />the building and be in compliance. <br />2. Complete construction details and spccification are requircd for the aluminum roof and <br />supports. The roof appears to be supportcd by thc cxisting caves. If this is the case, it must bc <br />vcrificd that the ea�•cs can support thc new loading. [nclude a detail for the support of thc <br />insulation. <br />3. The foundation plan indicates that thc new roof will be supported by aluminum posts. If inis <br />were the case, the posts would be rcquired to be protected by onc-hour firc-resistivc <br />construction. UBC 503.2.1 and Table 5-A.
