In addition, this office <br /> reviewed the impact of the lateral loading due to the new openings. <br /> After reviewing the structure, the opinion of this office as follows; <br /> The new headers above the four and six foot opening must be made of a 2-2xb <br /> HF�2. The new proposed beam must be made of a 5.125 x 12.0 GLB 24F-V4. <br /> This beam must be supported by 4x6 HF#2 columns resting on 24x24x12 <br /> concreie fooiings with (3) #4 bars each way. <br /> Please see attached calculations. <br /> A proposed change of a new opening at the right elevation, at the kitchen area, <br /> fivo-2 foot windows to a single 4 foot window, does not affect 1he lateral structural <br /> soundness of 1he shearwalls at this sheorline.
