With the addition of the followir.q, the <br /> plans are approved. <br /> 1. All food service equipment must be listed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for its <br /> intended use. Storage refrigerators must be listed for the storage of potentially hazardous <br /> foods. <br /> 2. Plumbing must meet state and local codes. <br /> 3. Extra wall protection is required on wails behind sinks and food preparation tables. A 16 inch <br /> high backspiash of plastic laminate, fiberglass reinforced plastic, or equal is acceptable. <br /> Plastic coated hardboard is �ot�cceptable. <br /> 4. The ceiling above the food preparation areas must be nonabsorbent, smooth, and easily '� <br /> cleanable. <br /> 5. The Health District operating permit application process must be completed prior to opening <br /> tor business. <br /> If there are any significant changes or additions to your layout or equipment, the Snohomish <br /> Health District must be notified. <br /> A preoperational inspection is required prior to opening for business. At the time of inspection the <br /> construction of the food service establishment must be complete and all equipment must be in <br /> place. incomplete construction may result in a S55.OU reinspection fee. Piease contact the Food <br /> Program office about one week in advance to schedule an appointment.
