The cests to connect, including construction <br /> and monthly sewer service charges, will be borne by the property � <br /> owner. <br /> '{�� A review of existing records indicates that your property is not '� <br /> � L� connected to the public sewer system. Our records also indicate i <br /> that your property fronts on, or is within, 150 feet of an � <br /> � existing public sanitary sewer. I have enclosed an excerpt from , <br /> � ��... our sanitary �ewer chart indicatinq the proximity of your <br /> w.�� property to a public sanitary sewer system. <br /> You are being notified by this letter to connect to the public I <br /> '�,.. sewer. In the event you do not wish to connect to the sewer the <br /> i �s�,,,,� City Engineer may, on written request from the property owner, <br /> ' extend the time to connect to the public sewer for a period of up <br /> to five (5) years if the followinq condition is met. The <br /> existing sewage system shall be inspected by the Snohomish Health <br /> �� District at the property owner's expense and a written <br /> certification shall be submitted to the Public Works Department � <br /> indicating that the existing septic system is acceptable ta the � <br /> , � Snohomish Health District and will function for at least five (5) i <br /> 1`� , years. The Snohomish Health District can be contacted at 339- <br /> 5270. � <br /> I <br /> Everett Municipal Code further establishes that al] properties <br /> �'�� within 150 feet of an available public sanitary sewer, who fail <br /> � to connect after notice by the City, shall pay to the City an <br /> amount equal to the sewer service charqes established for other ! <br /> users of like kind.
