'l'he properiy wnsistcel of an upper, west platcau <br /> with a moderatc slope down to thc cast to a lowcr ama adjacent to IntcrsL�tc 5. Thc modcrate to <br /> steep slopc was about 41 feet hiE;h total with ihe middle notihwest slope otTof Bmadway at a <br /> maximum inclination of about GS pe:rccnt. Therc was a culvett undcr I3roadway that disch:uges � <br /> onto the northwest corncr oCUic property. 'I'he culvcrt forms a strcam channel which Ilows <br /> downslopc to the east. Vcgctation consisted of a modcrate gmwlh of vcry large evcrgrccn :vid <br /> few deciduous trees witli blackberry, ivy, fem, sal-al and othcr typical northwest understory. <br /> IqW bNSIlCS, ground cover plants and forest debris covcr comprisal the riemaining vegetntion. I <br /> 'Chcrc wcrc no existing irnprovcmenfs obxrvcd on Uie pro�rty. <br /> Subsurfacc Conditions <br /> Subsurfacc conditions on thc property wetc inferred from a visual rcconnaissance of the I <br /> property, a review of a geologic map of thc rcgion, ar.d the excava6on of two subsurface I <br /> exploration pits. 71ie exploration pits wetc excavated using a tracked backhoc.
