These <br /> inspectlons have been performed at the request of the owner to obtain approval for the occupied <br /> space that has been created in the basement of the existing house. <br /> The following summary of the(nspection observations has been created to address the main issues <br /> of Code non-compllance observed at the prooerty.This summary is not intended to be an all <br /> inclusive Iist o(the potential requirements to bring lhe property into compflance. <br /> 1. Electrical pennit to be obtained for all work. (existing noncompiiant work and any corrective <br /> work) <br /> 2. A State Iicensed elecUical contractor is required to"meger'all circuits and provide as built <br /> dra�vings per N[C 2008.Or all wirin�must be expos��d for Inspection. <br /> 3. Electrical service panel needs proper working clearante. <br /> 4. Service panel needs bonding jumper. <br /> 5. Some receptades have been wired incorrectly. <br /> 6. Receptacles require corrrct spacing per NEC 2008. <br /> 7. The room tha[has Been�reated for sleepfng purposes lacks the required resaie and egress <br /> � openmg. A code tompliant egress opening is required,or the room should cease to be ased as a <br /> sleeping room. <br /> 8. Smoke alarms to be provided throughout the dwelling per minfmum code requirements. i <br /> 9.
