These comments address building <br />issues only. Additiunal rcvisions, or additions, may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, <br />Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code. as amended by the State of <br />Washington and/or Washington State Energy Cale. 2W l Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to rnntinue, it will Ne necessary to provide the Building <br />Division with two complete new sels o[ drewings reflecting the corrections requesled. <br />The scupper openings in the parapct of the south wall arc rcquired to lx; protected per LBC :03.2.1. <br />Also. the scupper dces not �ppear to provide the overflow reyuirements of Section 1506.3. <br />2. The added exit on the south wall ���ould not comply with UBC 100G.2.1 which disallows exiting into an <br />area wherc protected openings are rcquired. This door should be removed. The exit from the garage <br />could be considercd to be the door into the hallway. The exit sign at this door would then lx movcd ta <br />the garage side of this door and left off of the hallway side. <br />3. The 18" wheelchair maneuverability requirement of UBC 110G.103 is still required at the upper floor <br />hallway door int� the office k2 urea and at Bill.
