These funds were in lieu of street improvement� for the <br />project you constructed in 1997. <br />The Revised code of Washington (WAC), Section 82.02.080, pertains to Impact Fee <br />Refunds. The Code indicates that Refunds are to be given if the impact fees are not <br />expended on the indicated capital facilities within 6 years. While it is true that it has been <br />Six years since the fee was collected, it is also a matter of record that the City has utilize <br />those funds and more to pay a consultant to provide surveying and mapping information <br />to �ssist in the development of this roadway. $15,735.50 was paid out for this one item in <br />26u1, which was well before the six year time period. Other expenditures have also been <br />made. <br />Based on the above informat�on, it would not be appropriate for the Ciry to make the <br />refund you have requested.
