IBC 706.3.9 rcquires Uotli liorizontal assemblies and walls defining a fire area to have a 2 <br />hour firc-resistance rating; tL•ereforc, all walls and tl�e storage room door of the exit <br />enclosure should also be protect��. <br />7.
