These <br />comments address building issues only. Additional revisions, or additions, may be required by <br />othcr dcpanments (such as Utilities, Planning or Pire). All references rcfer to the 2006 International <br />Building Code, as amendcd by the Sta(e of Washington and ad�pted by the City of Gverett and the <br />Washington State Gnergy Cocie, 2006 Gdition, unless stateci otherwise. <br />In order for Uic pracessing of your application to rnntinue, it will be necessary to provide thc <br />Building Division wiUi ltvo complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. <br />I. Plcase provide thc method to ventilale the bedrooms that complies with 1QC 1203.4. <br />2. Please providc the melhod of ventilation for the baths, kitchen and utiliry room to providc <br />compliance with the VIAQ code. <br />3. Pleasc provide a mcthod of compliancc with the sound transmission requirements of IBC <br />1207 for the bedroams. <br />4. Plcase indicate the requirement for smoke detectors in accordance with IIIC 907.2.10. <br />5. ANSI A117.1, 604.3 requires a clearznce around the water closets. Please revisc. <br />6. IBC 70G3.9 requires both horizontal assemblies and walls defining a fire area to have a 2 <br />hour firc-resistancc rating; therefore, all walls and the storagc room door of the exit <br />enclosure sho�ld also be protccted. <br />7.
