I did not see any garbage lying around the area. I will monitor the area more often for the next month. On 902 Broadway, I talked with Martin, the oH�ner, and explained that the unstable racks had to be made stable or removed. He indicated that he would remove them. The vehicles that were for sale aid those that were dismantled had to be removed. He said lie would get r'3 of them. I asked why the pile of tires was growi-�g as I]mew that he was disposing of then through a Portland disposal plant at one time. He said it was costly for this process but said he had talked witn someone in the Police Department and they had indicated a n2ed of some tires for their new shooting range. He asked how much time I would give: him to dispose of the tires he wwld not be using. I told him to start work on it 'vmnediately and to contact the Police Jepartment and tell them to get some of the tires if they wanted then because I was forcing }:im to get rid of th�n. I then proceeded to the Police Departrnent and talked with Officer Lenny Amundson who is presently in charge of what is happening at the range. He explained that they did want some of the tires for the range. I told him what the circwnstances were and said he had best contact Martin right away. I will continue to work on this.
