On i4ay 10, 1979 Jim Nelson,.the Project Superintendant for Lloyd Powell, Inc.
contacted the P.U.D. in order to receive some as-built information and
was informed that those lines were not their lines. He then contacted
you and was informed that your department could not locate these lines
and stated that in the event during the construction said lines were
cut that you would send out an electrician at no cost to either
Lloyd Powell, Inc. or The Rainier Fund, Inc.
2. Several times during the progress of construction Lloyd Powell, Inc. did
uncover some city lines and as instructed by you, your department was
cal1ed and they rame out and spliced them.
3. On or about October 2, 1979 you were again contacted by Jim Nelson
regarding the removal of the light standard at the north entrance and it
is my understanding that the projeci: was charged approximately $1300 for
this work. The charge of $1300 would be for removing and reinstalling
(at a later date). Also at• that time it is my understanding that;you
requested that we place a 2" PVC Chase under the approaches:to extend
5 feet beyond each side of the driveway. This was done.
4. On approximately October 24, 1979 the P.U.D. came to the project and
removed two poles, one of which was a secondary pole belonging to the
city street.
In view of the a6ove information it appears to me the The Rainier Fund, Inc. has
been more than cooperative with the City of Everett. It has installed the 2" PVC
Chase under the northly driveway and, incidently, also placed one under Cascade
Ford at thc time we installed the water tines. We feel the City of Everett should
7'hc Rainier Fund, Inc.,12dOD S.E.38ih SL Bellevue, Vashinglon 98006 P.O. Box 4085 Bellevue, Vashinglan 9R009 •(206) W3-1010
