A hydrant will be needed within 350' of the two back lots but fire protection capacity is questionable with the existing main on Cady Road. Really, the main should be replaced before this development take� place or at least the developer should agree to participate in the cost of the new main and a hydrant when it is installed, assuming funds are made available by a bond issuc. A 4" main with a 2" blow-off on the end will have to be extended into the cul-dc-sac to scrve thc lots. 2. SEWER: Tfiere is an 8" main on Cady Road. A new manhole will be needed on this main opposite thc proposed road so an8" main can be extended down that road to serve thc lots. The new main must hzve a manhole placed at its end. 3.
