Storm Draina�e and Runoffs II 3 : e During the period of constructi.on , prior to � landscaping, there will be straw bales staked • into place along the edge of the lake in . order to prevent any �water-borne silt or par- ticulates , clue to erosion , from reaching the lake. The aUove is taken as a precautionary step to � avoid any problems which could result from heavy rainfall while the site is being devel- oped. We }iave found that properly placed and siaked straw bales provide an e`fective mean� of straining ihe runoff in .order to reduce si].t. Storm wat�.r runoff from the parking areas will be collected into a tight-line storm drainage conveyance system through the use of commer- cially avciilable catch basins. E:ach catch basin will be fitted with a 90° e].bow, turned down , so that all floating debris will be ex- . cluded from the system and therefore from the lake . Note that in no case will inlet struc- tures be used on this project for storm water collection. , Prior to the storm water reaching t-he lake an oil- water separatox� will Ue installed . This oil-water separator will be of the type com- mercially available and will be apprcved by the Ciiy of Everett prior to �nstal] ati.on.
