Mr. Rusaell <br /> presided; Mr. 2ook, t7r. Eckstrom, Mr. tfoagland and D1r. Wilson <br /> were present. <br /> Mr. Russell introduced the Board members to the audience. <br /> A hearing wae held on the application of Robert Fankhauser, <br /> 1402 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, [4ashington�e�0�for a variance <br /> from Section 19 .40.020 of the Everett Hunicipal Code, Off-Street <br /> Parking, for permission to provide four (4) off-street parking <br /> spaces rather than the Code requirement of nine (9) off-atreet <br /> parkinq stalls for a professional tlierapeutic office . <br /> Legal Description: Lot 17 and the South 10 feet of Lot 18 <br /> Block 24 Friday' s Pirst .�dd. except the East <br /> 15 feet thereof. <br /> Address: 3732 Colby Avenue <br /> Zoning: R-9 Multiple Pamily liigh Densit}� Residence <br /> Chairman Russell read a letter written by View Ridge Realty for <br /> �lr. John Salter who owns the property at 3722 Colby Avenue . Mr. <br /> Salter objected to thc proposed therapeut� clinic's request <br /> covering off-street parking. <br /> Mr. Russell then read the comments presented by the Public Works <br /> Department and they were as follows: <br /> Dr. Fankhaus�r haa agreed to widen 36th Street to accommodate <br /> extra on-street oarking. If the aqreed stipulation for <br /> street wide��ing is placed on the variance, there is no ob- <br /> jection on this proposal as it should mitigate extra <br /> parking demands placed on this neighborhood as a result <br /> of the new facility. <br /> Mr. Wilson was excused from the IIoard at thie time because of con- <br /> flicting interests. <br /> Bob cankhauser, Jr. represented Robert Fankhauser, hia father, and <br /> made the statement that he had worked with the Public Works Depart- <br /> ment in providing off-street parkinq along 38th Street. <br /> Mr. John Uncles of 3724 Rockefeller had the following qnestions <br /> to ask 11r.
