Mr. Russell presided; Mr. <br /> Hoagland, Mr. Wilson and Mr. Eckstrom were present. Mr. Zook was absent. <br /> M:. Russell introduced the Board members to the audience. <br /> A hearing was held on the application of Clayton Williams, ;706 E. Casino <br /> Road, Everett, Washington 98203, for a variance from the Short Plat Ordinance <br /> No. 517-78, Section 200, Easement ;,.cess, Pa�•agraph (a) for permission to <br /> provide a twenty (20) foot permanent access easement road for access to and <br /> from a rear lot (Lot 2) over a front lot (Lot 1 ) of a proposed short plat. <br /> Legal Description: Lot 4, Block 3, Beverly Home 7racts Div. N1 <br /> Address: 7706 East Casino Road <br /> Zoning; R-1 Single ramily Low Density Residence <br /> Mr. Williamsrepresented himself and had nothing further to add to his application. <br /> Mrs. Ruth Johnson was against the granting of the variance because the house in <br /> the rear is on the property line and should not be allowed to go any higher <br /> than seventeen (17) feet for any alteration or additton that may be constructed <br /> on the residence at a later time. This would preserve the view and conform <br /> to other properties in the area that have stipulations of seventeen ( 17) feet <br /> for their height limitation. <br /> The Board mentioned that the variance request was for an access easement road <br /> and it would be difficult to restrict height for less than the Zoning Code <br /> dictates. <br /> There was no further comment from the audience. <br /> After visually viewing the sub,ject property and considering all the facts and <br /> testimony it was moved by Mr. Eckstrom, seconded by Mr. Hoagland and unanimously <br /> 19r10e060 ofrthe EverettTMunicipaltCodetsPara taehsejui�em3ntandf45astwell as <br /> the Short Plat Ordinance 517-78, Section 200,9Easement Access. <br /> A hearing was held on the apnlication of Mr. Routson and Mr. Hessel rave, <br /> 2708 Leonard Drive, Everett, Washington 9820 , for a variance from Section <br /> 19.48.030 of the Everet: Municipal Code, Conversions, Paragraph C, for pernission <br /> to convert a single family residence to a duplex and be allowed exterior <br /> structural changes other than that which is required for ingress and egress; <br /> I <br /> `_1 <br /> I <br /> I <br />
