' °`' � <br /> SUBJECT: 212 WEST CASINO <br /> EVERETT WA <br /> Dear Ms. Behr: <br /> Your letter of July 17, 1984 indicated that you had no future intention <br /> of having anyone occupy the structure on the above referenced property. <br /> You further indlcated that the structure would eventually be demolished. <br /> The Building Official 's Notice and Order sent to K 8 H Enterprises on <br /> June 11 , 1984 stated that, "The building shall either be repaired 1n <br /> accordance with the current Building Code or demolished." The Order <br /> further stated that, "If the owners elect to demolish the building, all <br /> required permits must be secured therefor and the work physlcally commenced <br /> within 60 days of the date of the Order. Such demolition must be completed <br /> wlthln 90 days from the date of the Order." <br /> The area this structure is located in has a neighborhood full of minor <br /> childrer.. These minors find the structure very attractive ar�d play in <br /> the building or around it. The conditions of the building are not only <br /> hazardous to these minors and the qeneral public, but they are considered <br /> dangerous to their health, safety and welfare. <br /> Therefore, until the structure is repaired or demolished, the City of <br /> Everett has no alternative but to continue with abatement of the structure. <br /> As the Building Official 's Notice and Order stated, on September 12, 1984 <br /> at 8:30 a.m. the Building w111 submit a resolution of demolltion to the <br /> Everett City Council if the owners fail to comply with the requirements <br /> of the Order. <br /> Ynurs truly, <br /> L.
