Analysis o( the proposed walls
was pertormed using the MSEW 3 0 compuler program following AAHSTO design
methodoiogy.
Based on our review of the referenced site plan, mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls will
be constructed along the eastern margins of the development envelope. The walls will rafse
grades by up to about 21 feet to achieve the design subgrade elevation of about 563 feet. The
tallest portion of the wall will be located in the southeastern corner of the property. The wall will
face a wetland area. The MSE wall will support loaded truck traffic associated with the
anticipated development. The MSE wall will include a (ace wrap consistinp of woven geotextile
fabric to retain the fill near the suriace. As mentioned in the notes on the attached drawing, the
geotextile and geogrid materiai must be able to withstand permanent exposure to ulfra-violet
light and weathering without compromising strength performance.
Gravity modular block walls up to about nine feet in height will be constructed along cuts made
in the southern and western portions of the site.
2H71I 152nd Avrnur NI. • KrdmmJ.N'A 971Ui1 • 141SI'H.1 1400I AX 141i1 2144 715;i• full Frrr INldd i3G fV 10 q3
O
