Presently , the ansite
b:oswale is veqetated with cattails which provides
suitable habitat value and Cilteinq of toxins. 1`here
is no objection to mowiny the bicswle, but leavinq
this area as veqetated would lesaen maintenance and
f .'
limit habitat disturbance.
Y 2 ) A qreen vinyl Cence should be inscaLled around Y.hc
restored vetland site in order to stop dumping that has
1 occurred on its perimeter. 7'he placement of screeninq
" strips in the fence is not required. Small signs
should be placed on the [ ence notinq that the area is
`.' ati "Environmentally Sensitive fiabitat" and that no
dumpinq within, clearinq or modification of the area
should occur without written permission from the City.
1 ; ] ) Perform the followinq maintenance measures within
"' the created wetland:
a ) replace the dead and dyinq cedars in the north,
northeast , and northwest buffers; and
b) thin the alders to a 5 x 5 spacinq ( a botanist or
• horticulturalist should flaq ali existinq plantinq-
prior to -uttinq of the volunteer aldcr pl ntinyal ; ani
