Technically, these pecmits are expiring. I would appreciate your assistance in cluifying the statua of these perntits. Some are surely Cutished, and we just aeed to schedule inapecdon to documeat fuul approvals. Others, if they are for worlc that is continuing, nad either an inspection report documenting progress, or a formal request for eatension of the petmits so that they do mt expirc. The Unifortn Building Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authoriud by the pecmit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is comarenced far a period of 180 days. Enclosed in this packet, you will fiad the list of outstanding peimits, which includes brief descriptions of the work permitted under each, the contractor namal on the pecmit, and the date of the last aquested inspecdon. Also enclosed is a copy of each listed permit and iro inspecdons. I am prepazed to send a copy of this letter, the list, and the relevant permtts and inspectioav to each contracror.
