Division 0 and Division 1, as Indexed, <br />apply to this section. <br />B. Furnish and install all horizontal sliding, <br />accordion -type lire doors shown on the <br />drawings and specified herein. <br />1.02 RELATED SECTIONS <br />A. All headers, support structures, surround- <br />ing insulation, jambs, storage pockets, <br />Poeketdoors, access doors, blocking and <br />trim shall be furnished and Installed by <br />other sections. <br />B. All electrical wiring, conduit and electrical <br />boxes shall be furnished and installed by <br />electrical section. <br />C.IAll track, soffit, chain guide and wall <br />mounted striker posts shall be painted by <br />Section 09900. Color shall be selected by <br />the architect.) <br />1.03 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Installation shall be accomplished by fac- <br />tory trained personnel. <br />B. Fire doors shall be listed by Underwriters <br />Laboratories for ratings as indicated, <br />when leafed in accordance with the re- <br />quirements of UL 1013 and ASTM <br />E-152. <br />1.04 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Refer 10 Section 01300 - Shop Drawings <br />and Submittals. <br />A <br />Indicate required staci.mg depth, stor- <br />e8e pocket width and'height of header <br />above finished floor. Show installation <br />details, layout, and electrical requirements. <br />SPECIFICATIONS <br />FILE: P208PEC <br />1.05 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING <br />A. Deliver to the job site In manufacturer's <br />original, unopened package. Supervise <br />unloading and handling. <br />B. Store boxes flat (not more than three high) <br />in dry area and protect from elements <br />which may damage materials. Replace <br />damaged materials at no cost to the <br />owner. <br />1.06 COORDINATION <br />A. Coordinate the efforts of the various trades <br />affected by the work of this section. <br />Assure accurate installation of header, <br />jamb, and trim. <br />B. Electrical rough -in shall be In -place and <br />ready for final connection when fire doors <br />are erected. Assure access to and proper <br />clearance for motor operators. <br />C. Alter testing the fire -alarm system, auto- <br />matic -closing fire doors shall be re -set to <br />the original positions. <br />1.07 WARRANTY <br />A. Materials and Installation shall be warran- <br />ted against defects In workmanship for a <br />period of one (1) year from the date of <br />substantial completion. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MANUFACTURER <br />A. Horizontal sliding, accordion -type, fire <br />doors shall be FireGuard model 20 as <br />manufactured by Won -Door Corporation, <br />Salt Lake City, Utah. <br />
